TOUR DE YORKSHIRE (GB)
ABOUT THE RACE
On Saturday, April 29th, the second edition of the Tour of Yorkshire will take place. It’s a one-day race that has been organized for the first time last year. In it’s first edition, the race ended in a bunch sprint.
This year’s edition will be a race between Tadcaster and Harrogate, on the course of the second stage of the men’s edition. Along the course, there’s one climb (the côte de Lofthouse with an average of 10,9%) and two sprints (one at Knaresborough and one at Ripon), before the peloton rushes towards the finish in Parliament Street in Harrogate, on which the opening stage of the 2014 Tour de France finished.
