ABOUT 
THE RACE

The 23rd Erondegemse Pijl is organized by vzw WC Velo Plus Erondegem and will take place on Saturday the 5th of August. It’s the last race in the Lotto Cycling Cup 2017, a GC over six races in which Monique van de Ree is currently second! Last year, Monique finished fourth in this race, while Thalita finished third last year and won the race back in 2015!

The race starts at 15h30 with a first stretch of 6,8 km, followed by one big lap of 35,2 km. After this, the riders will cross the finish line to complete 8 smaller laps of 9,3 km each, adding up do a total of 116,4 km. Spread throughout the course, there are four rushes (each of them during a passage of the finish line) and four QOM’s. The QOM’s are situated 1 km before the finish line and will take place during the second, fourth, sixth and eighth passage.
